Join SOCAP on Facebook
Facebook is a social networking site where you can connect with family, friends and professional associates in an informal environment. Unlike rival MySpace, Facebook membership trends towards college students and adult professionals… and it is a favorite destination for many members of SOCAP. Members have robust privacy controls that enable them to choose what content is visible and who can and cannot see it.
To join SOCAP on Facebook, go to www.facebook.com and set up a Facebook account. You will then be prompted to find your friends and associates on Facebook and invite them to become your Facebook “friends.”You can skip this stage if you wish. There will be plenty of time to connect with people as you get to know Facebook better.
Now you can become a SOCAP fan. Go to the SOCAP page and select the option allowing you to become a fan. Once you’ve become a SOCAP fan, you will be able use the Fan list to find your SOCAP friends and invite them to become your friends on Facebook.

Facebook is a viral tool for connecting with people. When your SOCAP friends become your friends on Facebook, they will be prompted to let your mutual friends know that you have arrived. In addition, you wil be able to see what is going on with your friends—and what’s happening in SOCAP.
